President Murmu Delighted with Instant Album and Photo Frame Gift; Appreciates CM’s Family Values
President Droupadi Murmu recently completed a two-day visit to Chhattisgarh. During her stay, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai hosted a lunch at his new residence in Naya Raipur, offering a variety of traditional Chhattisgarhi and Odia dishes. The arrangements were meticulously planned, reflecting the dignity of the President’s visit. She expressed her appreciation for the warm hospitality.
However, what truly delighted President Murmu was a thoughtful gift from the Chief Minister and his wife, Mrs. Kaushalya Devi—a printed photo album and a framed photograph capturing memories from her two-day stay. In a now-viral photo, the President can be seen smiling warmly as she received the frame. Her expression was one of heartfelt surprise and happiness, making it evident that the gift had made a lasting impression on her.
President Murmu, while admiring the photographs in the album, commented on how remarkable it was to receive such a thoughtful gift in this digital age, where memories are often shared via WhatsApp and email. She appreciated the effort of having the photos printed, framed, and presented so quickly. She also noted that the inclusion of family moments with the Chief Minister’s family in the album reflected traditional values, which she deeply admired.
The album included photographs from various events the President attended, such as interactions with students, her visit to the Jagannath Temple, and moments at Muktangan, where welfare programs were showcased. The President remarked that these memories from her visit have now been beautifully preserved.
This gesture by the Chief Minister’s family was widely appreciated, symbolizing a blend of modern technology and traditional values, which left a lasting impression on President Murmu.
