Pune: In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old man was brutally killed with an iron rod by his colleague following a heated argument over food preparation. The incident occurred in Pimpri Chinchwad, and the accused has since been arrested. The deceased has been identified as Deepu Kumar, who had recently moved to Pimpri Chinchwad a few months ago. The entire incident, captured on CCTV, depicts the gruesome murder.
The CCTV footage shows that all the staff, including the victim, were sleeping except for the accused. After some time, the accused picked up an iron rod and began brutally striking Deepu’s head while he was asleep.
Reportedly, an argument had taken place between them over food preparation. After the argument, all the staff went to sleep, but the accused, identified as Mukesh Kushwaha, remained awake to take his revenge.
The accused and the deceased, along with three others, had been working as caretakers in a private company. A case has been registered under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nayaya Sanhita (BNS).
In a separate incident, a man was flung into the air after being hit by a speeding car in Pune’s Pimpri-Chinchwad area on November 1 while he was bursting crackers on the road. The 35-year-old victim sustained injuries and later died. The entire incident was caught on a CCTV camera.
In the video, people can be seen on the roadside celebrating Diwali and bursting crackers when the victim, in a red dress, is seen moving on the road along with another person. Suddenly, to everyone’s surprise, a speeding car hits him throwing him into the air while others watched in shock. The victim has been identified as Soham Patel.
