Farmhouse Party Turns Fatal: Bengaluru Student Killed While Attempting to Stop Gang from Filming Girls

Bengaluru: A 21-year-old college student died after he was allegedly attacked by three men at a farmhouse on the outskirts of the city. Three people have been arrested in connection with the case. The deceased, identified as Punith, a B.Com student, had gone to a farmhouse in Chikkenahalli with seven of his friends, including two girls.
According to police, the accused, from the nearby Honnapura area, allegedly reached the farmhouse at night and began abusing Punith and his friends. They also started filming his female friends who were in the swimming pool. When Punith tried to stop them, they attacked him with a wooden log, injuring his head, after which he was rushed to a hospital. However, he later succumbed to his injuries. The incident took place on October 26, news agency PTI reported.
Punith’s friend also suffered minor injuries during the incident. Police stated, “We have registered a case of murder and arrested the three accused involved in the incident,” as quoted by PTI.
