6-Month-Old Foetus Found Stuck in Pipe At House, 9 Tenants on Probe List

Ghaziabad: A six-month-old foetus was recovered from a toilet pipe of a house in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad on Sunday. Police said the foetus was taken out after breaking the pipe. The owner of the house, Devendra alias Deva told the police. Police were informed after which Indirapuram cops reached the spot, a report in PTI said.
The cops then interrogated the landlord who told them that on Sunday morning, they found the pipe was cut due to water stagnation. After checking it, they found that a foetus was stuck in the pipe. The owner said that a total of nine tenants are living in his house, the PTI report added.
The cops interrogated all of them and the foetus has been preserved after completing all the necessary legal action. Now, the police will match the DNA of the tenants with the DNA of the embryo to find the culprit. Indirapuram Assistant Commissioner of Police Swatantra Kumar Singh said further probe is underway in the matter.
