The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) protested against the Waqf (Amendment) Bill at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. The BJP is constantly cornering the workers of Muslim organizations over their protest against the Waqf Bill, while many allegations are being leveled against the BJP as well. The protesters alleged that the government is trying to loot the Waqf properties. They (JPC on Waqf Amendment Bill) have not even considered the views of the opposition. We oppose it.

AIMPLB’s Abu Talib Rahmani said that we have not come here to fight, threaten or challenge the community but for our rights. If a vegetarian wife can live with a non-vegetarian husband, then why can’t Hindus and Muslims live together in the country. He further said that the PM says that in childhood food is not cooked on Eid. We can send vegetarian food even today. The door of your love has closed. Today, protect your destiny, O country, we will protect you too.

He said that JPC has acted in a very unfair manner. They are talking to those who are not stakeholders except the stakeholders. You might end up going to Sri Lanka. You like the beauty of Bangladesh but you don’t like the Hussain of your country.

The government wants to give the Waqf lands to the industrialist – Imran Pratapgarhi

On the protest against the Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2024 at Jantar Mantar, Congress MP Imran Pratapgarhi said that the government has to understand that there is a lot of opposition, it is a good thing that the organizations are democratically opposing the dictatorship that the government is trying to impose. Do they want to loot the Waqf lands and give it to their industrialist friends? If they were not going to listen to the opinion of the JPC members, then why did they form the JPC.

BJP-RSS never allows peace to prevail- Congress
