This is how Punjab police killed the main accused of Amritsar grenade attack in 24 hours

On Friday, miscreants riding a bike attacked Thakur Gudwara temple in Amritsar, Punjab with a grenade. Police had an encounter in Rajasansi area today to catch the main accused Gursidak and Vishal of the Amritsar grenade attack. Accused Gursidak died after being shot during the encounter.
According to police, when SHO Cheharta tried to stop the bike-riding accused, they left their motorcycle and started firing at the police.
One bullet hit the left hand of constable Gurpreet Singh’s head, one bullet hit Inspector Amolak Singh’s turban and one bullet hit the police vehicle. Inspector Vinod Kumar fired from his pistol in self-defense, in which the accused Gursidak was injured.
The other accused fled from the spot. HC Gurpreet Singh and Gursidak were taken to the civil hospital for treatment. He died in the hospital.
Information was received about the accused roaming around
Police are investigating the attackers’ links with Pakistan and ISI in this case. SHO Cheharta had received information about the motorcycle used in the crime. The name of the accused came to light after questioning its owner Varinder son of Nirmal Singh. The accused Gursidak alias Siddiqui is a resident of Amritsar. The second accused Vishal is also a resident of Amritsar.

Early this morning, the police received information about the accused roaming in the area of Rajasansi. To catch them, police teams of CIA and SHO Cheharta were formed. When SHO Cheharta tried to stop the motorcycle of the accused, he left his motorcycle and opened fire on the police team.
Three accused were arrested
Police had arrested three accused from Bihar in this case. According to police investigation, all these accused were trying to go to Nepal away from India. These accused used to supply grenades and illegal weapons. This attack on Thakurdwar temple was carried out at 12:30 in the night. According to CCTV footage, two bike riders came and one attacked the temple with a grenade and both of them fled from the spot.
