Union Minister Jitendra Singh tweeted, ‘While the whole world is eagerly waiting for the safe return of Sunita Williams, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his concern for this daughter of India.’

Sunita expressed her gratitude to PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his letter sent to Sunita Williams through astronaut Mike Massimino, said, ‘Even though you are thousands of miles away, you are close to our hearts.’ The Union Minister wrote that this letter reflects the pride of 1.4 billion Indians. A few days ago, Prime Minister Modi met Massimino at an event and requested that this letter from him and the people of India must reach him. Wishing her strength and safe return, the Prime Minister reaffirmed India’s deep bond with his wonderful daughter. Sunita was also overwhelmed by this gesture and expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and India.

At the same time, the weather will be favorable during Sunita’s landing. NASA is constantly monitoring the situation. On Sunday, NASA issued a statement saying that the astronauts will land tomorrow evening at around 5.57 pm, that is, Sunita will land on Wednesday morning at 3:30 am according to Indian time. Both the astronauts have spent more than 9 months on the International Space Station.

Sunita went to the space station for just 8 days

Sunita Williams has told in an email that she has been working out intensely for the last nine months, which makes her feel stronger. However, Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore’s Crew-9 mission was only for 8 days, but there was a technical fault in their Boeing Starliner capsule.
