Hamas also uses this money to pay salaries to its employees. Hamas gets money from countries like Egypt, Jordan, Iran. Talking about weapons, Hamas fighters mostly use Israeli weapons.

According to Israeli media reports, Hamas fighters get weapons from Israel through theft and smuggling. Not only this, whatever weapons Israel loses in Gaza, Hamas fighters prepare them again.

How much money do Hamas fighters get?

Hamas does not pay salary to its fighters on monthly basis. Hamas adopts three methods to pay money. Hamas bears the entire expenses of the trained fighter and his family. If a fighter dies, it gives about 16 lakh rupees to his family. Hamas also gives a house to the fighter’s family.

Apart from this, Hamas also recruits fighters on contract basis. According to the Israel Defense Department, under this, it gives Rs 8 lakh and a flat to bring an Israeli citizen to Gaza.

Hamas also gives lump sum money from time to time to the surviving fighters for their expenses. Hamas fighters spend most of the money on their security.
