Nagpur Violence: Faheem Khan is the mastermind of Nagpur violence! He incited the crowd and set the city on fire, also molested a female police officer

A big revelation has been made about the mastermind of the violence that broke out in Nagpur, Maharashtra on Monday. The police claim that the mastermind of the violence is Faheem Khan. He instigated the people and gathered about 500 people at the police station.
This has been revealed in the second FIR lodged at Ganeshpeth Police Station in Nagpur. According to the FIR, the mob also tried to molest the female police personnel taking advantage of the darkness. Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal activists protested in front of the effigy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj near Gandhi Gate, raising slogans against Aurangzeb’s tomb and burnt a symbolic effigy of Aurangzeb.

Against this, a mob gathered at the police station under the leadership of Minority Democratic Party (MDP) city president Faheem Khan. This mob waved deadly weapons in the air with axes, stones, sticks and other dangerous weapons with the intention of creating terror in the area and instilling fear in the people and disturbing social harmony with the intention of increasing religious animosity.
Members of the mob attacked the police with deadly weapons, stones in the Bhaldarpura Chowk area with the intent to kill. They prepared petrol bombs and threw them at the policemen to discourage them from their official duties. Some of them took advantage of the darkness and touched the uniform and body of a woman constable of the RCP squad. They also sexually abused and harassed other women. On seeing some women staff, they made obscene gestures and passed lewd comments.

Violence broke out in the Mahal area of Nagpur in Maharashtra on Monday evening at around 7:30 pm, in which stones were pelted on the police. A rumour spread in the area that a religious text of a community was burnt during the VHP’s agitation demanding the removal of Aurangzeb’s tomb located in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district. Violence broke out in the area after the rumour spread.
Some residents of the Old Hislop College area, near Chitnis Park in Mahal area, said that around 7.30 pm on Monday, a mob attacked their area and started pelting stones at their houses and vandalised several cars parked in the streets.
People said that the people in the mob threw stones at houses and set cars on fire, broke water coolers and windows in the houses and fled. In this regard, a resident said that later the people living in the area themselves extinguished the fire of the burning vehicles. Angry residents demanded immediate police action against the mob.
