Saurabh Kumar Rajput, posted in the Merchant Navy, fought with his family and had a love marriage with Muskan Rastogi in 2016. But Saurabh had no idea that the woman he was marrying would become thirsty for his life. She would kill him for another man.
Something similar happened. Saurabh Kumar Rajput, posted in the Merchant Navy, came to Meerut from London to celebrate his wife Muskan Rastogi’s birthday. His wife Muskan’s birthday was on February 25 and Saurabh reached Meerut to celebrate her birthday on February 24. Where on March 4, Muskan first stabbed her sleeping husband Saurabh in the chest and then with the help of her lover Sahil cut the body into 15 pieces.
First meeting in 2016
This horrifying tale of love, marriage and murder began in 2016, when Saurabh met Muskaan for the first time. Saurabh Rajput got a job in the Merchant Navy. Due to posting, he lived in London and kept coming to India. In 2016, Saurabh came to Meerut and it was here that he met Muskaan for the first time. Seeing Saurabh’s profile, Muskaan fell in love with him and both of them started meeting secretly. When the matter reached marriage, Saurabh’s family members protested but going against the family, Saurabh did a love marriage with Muskaan.
was evicted from the property
There was a dispute with the family regarding this matter and Saurabh was evicted from the property by the family. About 3 years ago, Saurabh started living in a rented house in Indira Nagar, Meerut with his wife Muskan. Their 6-year-old daughter Pihu also lived with them. Pihu studies in second class. Saurabh mostly stayed in London due to his job. This is where the twist in the story came. Muskan used to go to drop her daughter to school every day. During this time, she met a man named Sahil Shukla. Muskan and Sahil started meeting often and they also had physical relations.
Sahil started pressuring me for marriage
Everything was going well till 2022. Saurabh used to stay in Meerut only for two to three months in a year and Muskaan used to spend the rest of the time with Sahil, but now Sahil started pressuring her for marriage. Muskaan told the police that Sahil used to say that he would get Saurabh out of the way and then both of them would live together.
Saurabh reached Meerut on 24 February
Muskan’s birthday was on 25 February and on 24 February Saurabh came to Meerut from London to celebrate his birthday. It was decided that Saurabh would be killed on 4 March to eliminate him. On the night of 4 March, a sedative was mixed in his dinner, due to which Saurabh fell asleep early after eating. After this, wife Muskan called her lover Sahil. Then Muskan stabbed her husband Saurabh in the chest. After Saurabh’s death, both of them dragged his body to the bathroom.
After this, wife Muskan and lover Sahil together cut Saurabh’s body into 15 pieces. Then to hide it, they brought a big plastic drum filled with water from the market and filled the pieces of the body in this drum. Muskan and Sahil knew that the body would stink after rotting, so they poured water over the body and filled it with cement and after this both of them stayed together in the lobby the whole night.
Smile has gone to Shimla-Manali
On the morning of 5 March, Muskan picked up her daughter Pihu and dropped her at her mother’s house and then came back and went to Shimla-Manali with Sahil. As part of the conspiracy, Muskan also took Saurabh’s mobile with her. From there, she used to use Saurabh’s WhatsApp and keep replying to his messages. She also kept updating photos of her trip to Shimla from her Instagram account. During this time, Sahil and Muskan also got married in a temple in Shimla, but all their money started getting exhausted in hotel, food and travel.
Saurabh had 6 lakh rupees in his account. Muskan was unable to withdraw that money. So, upset, Muskan called her mother Kavita and asked how she could withdraw money from the bank? Then the mother angrily asked that Saurabh is with you, then why do you need money, after which Muskan told her mother the horrifying truth that she along with her lover had killed her husband Saurabh. After this, on the mother’s insistence, Muskan and Sahil returned to Meerut on March 17.
Rahul got suspicious of his sister-in-law
During this time, Saurabh’s brother Rahul was constantly trying to contact his brother, but no one was picking up the phone. After this, on March 18, Rahul reached Saurabh’s house but found no one there. He called his sister-in-law Muskan and asked about Saurabh, but Muskan replied that she had come to her maternal home. She had no information about Saurabh. Rahul started suspecting something untoward. Then Muskan reached there with her lover.
Rahul asked his Bhabhi for information about his brother, but Muskaan could not give a satisfactory answer. Rahul became suspicious after seeing an unknown young man with his Bhabhi. After this, he went inside the house and smelled a strong stench. He raised an alarm and caught Muskaan and the man who had come with her right there and gathered the neighbors and called the police.
What did the neighbors say?
Neighbours say that the accused Sahil used to come to the house several times a day. He introduced himself as her brother but the woman did not talk to anyone in the neighbourhood. No one had seen Saurabh. They cannot believe that a wife can murder her husband so brutally.
The police reached the spot and took Muskan and her lover into custody. Rahul suspected that the body of his brother was in a big plastic drum. The lid of the drum was completely packed with cement. After this, when the drum was opened, Saurabh’s body was found in pieces inside. During interrogation, it was found that Sahil used to smoke ganja and he had made Muskan addicted to ganja too. This is the reason why Muskan was not leaving Sahil.
The workers refused to take the drum
People of the area say that both of them had called some labourers to their house. Both of them wanted the labourers to throw the dead body hidden in the drum somewhere, but after the cement set, the drum became heavy, due to which the labourers got suspicious and refused to take the drum. Currently, in the case of murder of Merchant Navy officer Saurabh, his wife and wife’s lover Sahil have been arrested by the police. Further action is underway against both of them.
